Missouri senior guard LaToya Bond was named a Big 12 first-team selection yesterday, as the conference handed out post season awards to the league’s best women basketball players. Bond is averaging 17.5 points per game this season, which is sixth-best in the conference. Teammate Christelle N’Garsanet (13.8 ppg/8.9 rpg) was named to the All-Big 12 Second team, while Carlynn Savant was an honorable mention.

Bond was also named to the Big 12 All-Defensive team, along with teammate EeTisha Riddle.
