Marshall Brown’s jumper with 3.3 seconds to go gave MU a 64-63 win over Nebraska on Senior Night. Jimmy McKinney had six points, two assists and two rebounds in his final game at Mizzou Arena. Fellow senior Kevin Young scored seven points and grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds.

Thomas Gardner led the team with 23 points. Marcus Watkins scored all eleven of his points in the second half.

With the win, MU snapped a four-game skid and finished one game in front of the Big 12 cellar, which was occupied by Baylor. Mizzou 12-15/5-11 will be the 11th seed in the Big 12 Tournament and will face 6th-seeded Nebraska on Thursday.
