The Rams have completed their coaching staff with the hiring of defensive line coach Brian Baker. He comes to St. Louis after spending five seasons with the Vikings as a defensive assistant. Before that, he was an assistant for the Lions and Chargers.

Last week first-year head coach Scott Linehan officially introduced his coaching staff, which was still short a defensive line coach. Initially Nick Holt was going to leave his head coaching position at the University of Idaho to take the job, changed his mind to become the defensive coordinator at the University of Southern California.

Baker, who will be entering his 11th year as an NFL coach, was an assistant at Georgia Tech from 1987-1995. Before that, he was an assistant at Army and his alma mater, Maryland, where he was a linebacker from 1980-1983.
