DNR Targets Company for Alleged Polluting

February 21, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

The Natural Resources Department charges a company that makes drywall tape with letting about 100 gallons of glue get into a storm sewer, which dumped into a couple of creeks near O’Fallon. DNR has not decided yet whether it will penalize Strait-Flex International. The company says the glue was water based and was not toxic and the company has taken steps to prevent a similar accident.
