Snyder Reportedly Getting Half Million Dollar Plus Resignation Package

February 13, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

The Columbia Daily Tribune is reporting that the University of Missouri Board of Curators is offering former men’s basketball Coach Quin Snyder $574,000 as a resignation settlement package. Snyder had nearly two years left on his contract when he abruptly resigned on Friday. He compiled a 126-91 record in his nearly seven seasons at Mizzou and even took the Tigers to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament in 2002. But Snyder’s teams had on and off court problems and finished the subsequent seasons below expectations. Melvin Watkins has taken over as interim head coach for the rest of the season.
