The Southeast Missouri St. men’s basketball team dropped its ninth game in a row with a 60-59 loss to Morehead St. on the road Thursday night. With the loss, the Redhawks have taken over the bottom spot in the Ohio Valley Conference Standings. They had a half-game lead over Morehead St. going into the game, now they trail by a half-game. SEMO is 6-16 overall and 3-13 in the OVC, while MSU improved to 4-17 and 3-12.

The Redhawks trailed the entire game, but had a chance to win it with one final shot. With ten seconds to go, SEMO put their offense in motion and Paul Pardoski had a wide-open three pointer, but opted to try to pass in side. That pass went out of bounds with 1.9 seconds to go.

Roy Booker led SEMO in the loss with 21 points and Quentin Pryor led the Eagles with 20.
