If you want to see the Kansas City Brigade’s first-ever home game, you’ll need to secure the services of a scalper. The team announced yesterday that its game against the Austin Wranglers on Sunday at Kemper arena is sold out. The team says 8,750 of the 16.200 tickets are owned by season ticket holders.

The Brigade will enter the home opener with an 0-2 record in the Arena Football League, after losses on the road to the Dallas Desperados and the Orlando Predators.

In October it was determined that the New Orleans VooDoo would have to move because of Hurricane Katrina and the team was relocated to Kansas City. The Brigade will eventually call the Sprint Center in downtown Kansas City home when construction is finished. That’s expected some time in 2007.
