Skelton says Effort in Iraq Far From Over

February 1, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

West-central Missouri Congressman Ike Skelton says much work remains before the United States can exit Iraq. Skelton strikes a more cautious tone in assessing military efforts in the Middle East than President Bush did in the State of the Union address. Skelton says the United States needs to send more than the military to Iraq. He says the Iraqi government is in desperate need of civil servants who can help them build a government.
