January 23, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

Ford workers at the Hazelwood plant in St. Louis County are ready for the bad news, which could come later this morning when Ford announces its plant closings. Ford’s restructuring is expected to close as many as five plants. Analysts have been predicting Hazelwood will be a casualty becuase the SUVs made there for Ford and Mercury are not selling well. Workers will stop the assembly lines at 9:30 this morning so they can listen to a broadcast by Ford CEO William Clay Ford Junior.
