First Game At New Busch Will Be A Minor League Affair

January 20, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

The first game at the new Busch Stadium is set, but don’t expect to see Albert Pujols, Scott Rolen or Chris Carpenter take the field. On April 4th, the Cardinals Class AAA team, the Memphis Cardinals, will face the Class AA team, the Springfield Cardinals in an exhibition game. First pitch will be at 6:10.

The team expects that game to work as a trial run for their big league opener on April 10 against the Brewers. Fans who want to attend the game can buy tickets for as cheap as $5 and as expensive as $20.
