Blunt Calls for Filing of Charges in Taum Sauk Collapse

Governor Matt Blunt is calling on Attorney General Jay Nixon to bring charges against AmerenUE. And, he’s doing it, based on the results of an investigation conducted by the State Department of Natural Resources in the wake of last month’s collapse of the Taum Sauk Reservoir. The Governor is asking DNR to share its findings with the Attorney General so that civil or criminal charges can be filed against Ameren.
