The interview process continues for the St. Louis Rams. Former Giants head coach, and current Ravens offensive coordinator, Jim Fassel was brought into St. Louis yesterday and will interview for the Rams head coaching job today. Fassel was the Giants head coach from 1997-2003 and led them to Super Bowl XXXV and two NFC East Titles. He also took them to the post season as a wild-card.

Earlier this week, the Rams interviewed Fresno St. head coach Pat Hill, who also talked to the Texans. He has an interview with the Raiders.

Other Rams’ interviewees have included Bears defensive coordinator Ron Rivera, Giants defensive coordinator Tim Lewis, Cowboys defensive coordinator and Dolphins offensive coordinator Scott Linehan.

The Al Saunders NFL Tour continues, as the Chiefs offensive coordinator will interview for the Lions head coaching vacancy today. This week he interviewed for the opening in Oakland. He also interviewed for the head coaching jobs with the Vikings (which was filled by Brad Childress) and the Texans.

This continues to leave his current position of offensive coordinator for the Chiefs in question. On Thursday, new Chiefs head coach Herman Edwards told the Kansas City Star that he hadn’t talked to Saunders yet. He also mentioned that fired Raiders head, Norv Turner, is someone who he’s interested in hiring. Turner was Trent Green’s head coach in Washington.
