Kinder Touts Budget, Higher Ed Spending

January 13, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder has met with business leaders in St. Louis, talking up the continued success of Missouri’s economy and how that is allowing the state to spend more money on higher education. Kinder says the increases are a direct result of the tough choices made last year. The proposed higher education increase amounts to $17.1-Million. The budget also calls for an increase of $167-Million to public schools.
