Talent Disappointed With USGS Decision on Rolla Mapping Center

The U.S. Geological Survey’s decision to shut down its MidContinent Mapping Center in Rolla and move operations to Denver doesn’t sit well with Senator Talent. He says he’s frustrated and disappointed with the USGS plan, adding legislative action is a possibility. Talent cautions that while legislative action is possible, he does not want to raise any hopes that the 200 jobs lost in Rolla can be saved.
