Chiefs head coach Herman Edwards made his first personnel decision on Tuesday by firing assistant offensive line coach Irv Eatman. Edwards plans on having a smaller coaching staff than the one Dick Vermeil put together and the move was an effort to streamline.
All of the current assistants were interviewed by Edwards on Tuesday. No word yet on whether or not Edwards will retain offensive coordinator Al Saunders or defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham.
