St. Louis attorney Mark Levison, who chaired the panel, also wants an end to the vilification of opponents in civil cases. Levison says it’s sufficient to advise potential clients of their options under the law. Levison says that while he wouldn’t call lawyer advertising deceptive, lawyers cannot create an unjustified expectation about results that can be achieved.
