Lawyers for Lisa Montgomery want her trial delayed until February of 2007. Montgomery’s trial is now scheduled for next April 24th. She’s accused of murdering a woman in Skidmore and cutting the woman’s unborn baby out of her womb a year ago. Her lawyers say they have too much work to do to be ready to defend her next April. The federal prosecutor is asking for the death penalty for Montgomery.
