The Missouri women’s basketball team won their seventh straight game with a 96-69 victory over Southern Illinois at Mizzou Arena. Five Tigers finished in double digit-scoring, including LaToya Bond, who led the way with 21. She was 7-of-11 from the field and hit all six of her free throws. Carlynn Savant scored 18 points for Mizzou, hitting 3-of-4 three pointers, while Christelle N’Garsanet and Tiffany Brooks scored 16 apiece. Tamika Jackson had 10 for the Tigers. It was the sixth time in their seven-game streak that five players have scored 10 points or more.

Missouri shot 55.9 percent from the field in the first half and took a 49-25 lead into the locker room. In the second half, the Tigers shot 61.3 percent from the field. They’re 8-2 on the season.
