Six St. Louis-area church board members have been excommunicated from the Catholic Church. The members of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church and the suspended priest they hired have all been excommunicated because of a schism between the Catholic Church and themselves. In a statement, Archbishop Raymond Burke said he had no choice because the excommunication was automatic. St. Stanislaus Kostka Church and the Archdiocese have been in a long dispute over the ownership of the Church’s property.
