The Saint Louis University basketball team dropped to 4-4 on the season with a 77-64 loss to Ole Miss in Oxford Mississippi Tuesday night. The Rebels had no trouble scoring on the Billikens, hitting 57.1 percent of their shots from the field and 46 percent of their three pointers. Bam Doyne scored 15 points, while Curtis Dwayne and Trey Hampton scored 14 apiece for the Rebels.

Meanwhile, SLU got off to a slow start offensively, by making just 37 percent of their shots in the first half and trailing 39-29 at the break. Things got worse in the second half, as Ole Miss kept making shot-after-shot and built their lead as high as 24 points. Tommie Liddell and Ian Vouyoukas were Saint Louis’ leading scorers with 12 apiece.
