An involuntary manslaughter charge has been filed against a Republic motorist accused of hitting and killing a State Highway Patrol Trooper last September. The Texas County Prosecutor says Forrest Larry Gahn did not slow down and did not pull into the left lane as required by law when passing an emergency vehicle on the right side shoulder.
