Suspect in Precious Doe Killing to Face Death Penalty

December 5, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

The stepfather of the child once known as Precious Doe will face the death penalty when he goes on trial. The Jackson County prosecutor says execution is appropriate for Harrell Johnson of Muskogee, Oklahoma, who’s accused of kicking 3-year old Erica Green in the head, causing her to die, then using headge clippers to cut off her head. The head and the rest of the girl’s body were found later in a wooded lot in Kansas City. Harrell has pleaded not guilty. The trial might not take place for another couple of years. The girl’s mother is charged with second-degree murder.
