December 2, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

The Blues snapped a seven-game home losing streak on Thursday night by topping the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-1 in St. Louis. Dennis Wideman’s goal at the 13:34 mark of the second period broke a 1-1 tie and proved to be the game-winner. It was Wideman’s first career goal.

In the third period, Simon Gamache, who was picked up on waivers from Nashville on Tuesday, scored his first goal with the team in the third period. Keith Tkachuk also scored in the third.
