The Missouri St. women’s basketball team kept their home winning streak alive with a 72-45 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Dating back to last season, the Lady Bears have won eight straight at the Hammons Student Center. Five of those wins were in their run to the WNIT championship in March.

On Wednesday, senior Kari Koch scored 21 points to lead MSU (2-1) in scoring and grabbed seven. She led the Lady Bears’ charge from behind the arc by hitting 5-of-8 three pointers—MSU was 10-of-23 shooting three pointes.

The most impressive performance, perhaps, came from sophomore guard Tahnee Balerio who recorded her first career double-double with 12 points and 11 assists.
