Online Retailers Brace for Cyber Monday Sales

Many consumers have heard about Black Friday – the Friday after Thanksgiving, which is one of the busiest shopping days of the year. Fewer have heard of Cyber Monday – the Monday after Thanksgiving, which is becoming one of the biggest online sales days of the year. Dave Overfelt, President of the Missouri Retailers Association, says more and more people are buying gifts online. Overfelt says many consumers visit stores on Thanksgiving weekend, then do their actual purchasing online on Monday, from the privacy of their own homes or offices.
