The Missouri St. women’s basketball team fell 68-62 to Arkansas St. in Jonesboro Tuesday. The normally sharp-shooting Lady Bears had a hard time putting points on the board, with a 37.9 percent shooting performance from the field and they hit just 28.6 percent of their three pointers.

After trailing 60-52, MSU was able to cut that lead to two points, Tiff Terwelp scored two lay ups late in the game to knock the deficit to 64-62 with eight seconds to go, but that’s as close as the Lady Bears would get.

Kari Koch was the leading scorer for MSU with 22 points. Sarah Klassen had 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Lady Bears.
