The Blues’ 2-0 victory over the Blue Jackets on Wednesday came at a cost. Defenseman Eric Brewer was injured in the game and won’t play for at least four-to-eight weeks after separating an AC joint in his right shoulder.

Brewer, who played in all 18 games for the Blues this season, suffered the injury in the first period of Wednesday’s game. He led the team with 24 minutes and 24 second per game. He has two goals and four assists this season.

Brewer came to St. Louis this summer from Edmonton in the Chris Pronger trade.
