Holmes Questionable, But Vermeil Expects Him To Play

November 3, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

Priest Holmes was no where to be seen at Chiefs practice on Wednesday, but head coach Dick Vermeil told reporters that there is no real concern. Holmes was having more tests done and Vermeil said he expected Holmes to play on Sunday. Holmes was having those tests done in California and is expected to return later today. He was knocked out of Sunday’s game against the Chargers after a helmet-to-helmet collision with Shawne Merriman

While Vermeil is confident that Holmes will play, the team has officially listed him as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Raiders.
