Chiefs’ running back Priest Holmes is a question mark for Sunday’s game against the Raiders. A helmet-to-helmet collision with Shawne Merriman knocked Holmes out of last Sunday’s game with the Chargers. As a result, Holmes is suffering mild head trauma and is also battling a sore shoulder. A battery of tests will be run to make sure he’s OK to go against Oakland.

Vermeil expressed concern about safety Jerome Woods’ availability on Sunday, as he nurses a sore hamstring. Vermeil is still unsure of Patrick Surtain’s status is still up in the air, even though an MRI showed that his knee was OK.

Eric Warfield, Will Shields, Willie Roaf, Greg Wesley and Trent Green are all banged and bruised, but should be ready to go Sunday.
