The Attorney General is going to investigate possible collusion among companies that provide non-emergency medical transportation to Medicaid recipients. The state has given a $25-Million contract to an Atlanta company which says it’s having trouble lining up subcontrators to provide the services. Chief Counsel Henry Herschel with the Office of Administration says reports of the negotiations raise questions. The Atlanta Company, Logisticare, says it expects to have enough subcontractors signed up to provide the service by the time its contract starts Saturday.
