Medicaid Reform Commission Ready to Think About Drafting a Report

Two days of brainstorming are behind it, and now the Medicaid Reform Commission begins to consider what exactly will be in its report to submit to the legislature next year. Senator Charlie Shields of St. Joseph, the Commission Chairman, says the panel needs to suggest what would be the ideal program for Missouri, then outline the barriers to creating that ideal system. The Commission returns to the Capitol in two weeks to begin drafting a report.
