Missouri quarterback Brad Smith set a school record with 480 yards of total offense (246 rushing, 234 passing) and led MU to a 41-24 win over Nebraska to earn the Walter Camp Football Foundation’s National Offensive Player of the Week Award.

Smith had touchdown runs of four, 79 and 45 yards and threw for a touchdown in the win. MU rolled early, scoring on its first four possessions in the victory. He also moved into second place all-time in the NCAA’s total yardage list, behind only former Indiana QB Antwan Randle-El.

The Tigers (5-2, 3-1) are tied with Colorado atop the Big 12 North and are ranked 29th in this week’s AP Poll and 32nd in the coaches’ poll. They travel to Lawrence, Kansas to face KU on Saturday.
