St. Charles native Mark Buehrle lasted seven innings and allowed four runs off seven hits to get the no-decision in the White Sox 7-6 win over the Astros in Game 2 of the World Series. Scott Posednik’s home run in the bottom of the ninth broke a 6-6 tie and ended the game.

Sox third baseman and Westphalia, Missouri native, Joe Crede, was 1-for-4 with an RBI. His single in the second inning tied the game at 1-1. Former Kansas City Royals outfielder Jermaine Dye was 1-of-3 with a run. He scored when Paul Konerko hit a grand slam in the seventh inning.
