Bulger Expected To Sit, Martin To Start

October 19, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

Rams Quarterback Marc Bulger is expected to miss this Sunday’s game against the Saints with a sprained AC joint in his right shoulder, though no official word has been handed down from the team. If that’s the case, Jamie Martin would start and rookie Ryan Fitzpatrick will be the back up.

Bulger went down in Monday’s 45-28 loss to the Colts. In the second quarter Bulger was picked off by Cato June, then he was leveled by David Thornton. That was the last action Bulger saw.

Last season, on December 5, Bulger was knocked out early in the Rams loss to the Arizona Cardinals with a shoulder injury. He then missed the next two weeks.

The younger brother of Rams defensive end Leonard Little was shot and killed on Monday afternoon. Little wasn’t informed of his death until after the game. A 17 year old girl who claimed Jermaine Little owed her $500 is being charged with his death.
