Governor Matt Blunt has set Tuesday, February 7th, as the date for special elections to fill a pair of vacancies in the Missouri House. A vacancy was created in the 93rd House District in St. Louis County when Republican Representative Jodi Stefanik resigned, in September, to take a position as the Governor’s Advisor on Medicaid issues. The second vacancy is in the 105th House District in the St. Louis area. Democratic Representative Harold Selby resigned in September, as well, to take a position as City Administrator of Pacific.
