The Chiefs defense allowed nearly 400 yards, but came up with the big plays in a 28-21 win over the Washington Redskins. The Chiefs forced three turnovers. Sammy Knight returned a fumble recovery 80 yards for a touchdown. Jared Allen had a monster day with three sacks and two fumble recoveries. After being held to two field goals in the first half, the Chiefs offense finally came to life over the final 30 minutes. Priest Holmes scored two touchdowns and had 100 yards receiving. Trent Green was 15-of-25 for 181 yards.
