St. Louis Rams Coach Mike Martz could be sidelined for the season. Martz is believed to have a bacterial infection of a heart valve, a condition known as endocarditis. Martz, who is 54, missed practice last Friday, believed at that time to be suffering from a sinus infection. Treatment could take four to six weeks and range from a prescription of antibiotics to valve replacement.
