Boeing Company of St. Louis is apologizing for a print adverstisement that has offended Muslim groups. The ad for the Osprey, a product of Boeing and Bell Helicopter, show soldiers descending from the Osprey by rope onto a mosque surrounded by smoke and fire. The full-page ad reads “It descends from the heavens. Ironically it unleashes hell.” A Boeing spokesman says the ad is indefensible.
