A Missouri Congressman says he gets no joy from new troubles for the fellow Republican who might have had Hulshof removed from a House committee. Northeast Missouri Congressman Kenny Hulshof was part of the Ethics Committee that voted to rebuke then-Majority Leader Tom Delay for several ethics violations. Hulshof says he voted for the admonishments because it was the right thing to do. Hulshof admits he probably paid the price for voting for those admonishments by being summarily removed from the Ethics Committee. He refuses to gloat over Delay’s problems back in Texas now. In fact, Hulshof chides Democrats for trying to make political hay out of Delay’s woes.
