The State Health Department does not think Missourians will have to go through the early part of the flu season again wondering if there will be any flu shots for them. Last year’s shortage in the early months of the season confused many Missourians. The Department’s Sue Denney think vaccine-makers could produce more than 100-Million doses, but she’s not sure when the bulk of those doses will arrive in Missouri. She says people whose immune systems are weak should be making plans to get their vaccine – either with a shot or through the use of an inhalant – as soon as possible.
