State Fitness Program Kicks Off

September 26, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

The third annual Shape Up Missouri program kicks off today with events across the state. Gayla Vandelicht, Director of the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Health, says the program serves as a reminder of the importance of geting into shape. The program pits schools against schools, businesses against businesses, and communities against communities – with “Best in Shape” awards given in several categories. The competition runs through November 18th. Information is available at www.mofitness.org.
