A Missouri brewing giant is doing its part to help the victims of recent hurricanes and hurricanes yet to come. St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch has donated more than 5.7-Million cans of drinking water to areas of the country hit hard by Hurricanes Katrina and Ophelia. And, Anheuser-Busch’s Vice President of Operations Mike Harding says the company is ready to provide water to the Gulf Coast of Texas, which is in the path of Hurricane Rita. Seven truckloads of drinking water will be available to rescue officials and victims after the storm hits. Harding says Anheuser-Busch is always ready to pitch in when emergencies strike.
