Young Returns To Blues

September 14, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

A familiar face is returning to St. Louis. Veteran right winger Scott Young was signed by the Blues on Tuesday, marking his second stint with the team. Young, who is 37 years old, played with the Blues from 1998-99 through 2001-2002.

“Scott Young is a returning veteran who knows the organization and what the coach expects,” said Blues General Manager Larry Pleau. “He adds speed and will contribute valuable time on the power play. Scott’s level of performance was always very consistent during his time here in St. Louis, when he enjoyed some of his best years.”

Young has recorded 324 goals and 284 assists in his 16-year career.
