Twelve Killed in Labor Day Weekend Traffic Crashes

September 6, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

A dozen Missourians have been killed in highway crashes in Missouri during the holiday weekend – down 40 percent from last year’s Labor Day weekend. State Highway Patrol Lieutenant Tim Hull says traffic did not seem to be affected by high fuel prices. The Patrol says its troopers worked 259 crashes that produced 142 injuries and a dozen fatalities. Last year, 20 people were killed in Labor Day traffic crashes.
