Troopers from Missouri will soon be in Mississippi to help restore order to areas ravaged by Hurricane Katrina. Lieutenant Tim Hull, a spokesman with the Patrol’s Jefferson City Headquarters, says the call has gone out for troopers to volunteer for hurricane relief duty. Hull says the Patrol is in the very preliminary stages of putting a group of about 30 together. He says the group will be made up of officers and communications people ready to assist law enforcement in Mississippi.
