The Rams’ offense seemed to be clicking on all pre-season cylinders on Monday in a 37-13 win over the Lions in Detroit. The first team offense rolled in the first half, scoring three touchdowns.

Running back Stephen Jackson carried the ball 14 times and rushed for 108 yards and a touchdown.

In the air, the Rams were equally potent. Marc Bulger was 11-of14 for 167 yards a touchdown and an interception. In the second quarter, Bulger hit Isaac Bruce for a 31-yard touchdown strike. Bulger scored the first touchdown of the game on his feet, running it in for seven yards, to cap a four-play, 78-yard opening drive. Bruce caught five passes for 85 yards.

The St. Louis offense racked up 453 total yards in the game.

But offense wasn’t the only positive on Monday. The defense held Detroit to just 245 yards of total offense and prevented them from scoring a touchdown until the fourth quarter.

Rams kicker Jeff Wilkins was 3-for-3 on field goal attempts, connecting on kicks of 35, 31 and 29 yards.
