Springfield Falls To Midland

The Springfield Cardinals fell to the Midland RockHounds 7-2 in Midland on Thursday. With the game tied 1-1 in the third inning, Midland broke the game open with a two-run double from Kevin Melillo and a two run homer from Jeremy Brown. All four runs were served up by starter Jordan Pals, who dropped to 5-11.

Travis Hanson hit and RBI single in the third and Aaron Herr drove in Springfield’s final run with an RBI double in the eighth.
