Equipment and manpower are the two biggest challenges facing the Water Patrol’s new Commander. Colonel Rad Talburt took over the Patrol earlier this Summer. He says an aging fleet of boats and land vehicles is of great concern to him. And, Talburt says the Patrol needs more officers to get the job done as well. But, Talburt believes if the Patrol is able to chip away a bit at a time, the necessary improvements might be realized.
