Tony Stewart was the winner of this weekend’s NASCAR race at Watkins Glen on Sunday and extended his lead in the points standings to 105 over Jimmie Johnson. Greg Biffle is third in points.

St. Louis native Rusty Wallace finished sixth in sixth place and remained in fourth place in the standings. Jamie McMurray of Joplin came in 13th on Sunday and jumped two spots from eleventh to ninth in the standings. The top ten drivers (or any driver within 400 points of the leader) after 26 races will qualify for the “Race For The Cup”. There are five more races before that cut off.

Carl Edwards of Columbia was 19th and remained 10th in the points’ race. Ken Schrader of Fenton, Missouri was 32nd on Sunday.
