Condemned Man Asks for Execution Delay

August 10, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

Lawyers for prison inmate Timothy Johnston have asked the State Supreme Court to delay the convicted killer’s scheduled execution until the man’s federal lawsuit has been resolved. Johnston’s federal lawsuit says lethal injection would cause him to suffer an excruciatingly painful and protracted death. Johnston faces an August 31st execution for beating and kicking his wife to death in 1989.
